This website is operated by Somerville Roofing Inc.. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

The information on this site is for general guidance. Prices, timelines, package contents and product availability described anywhere on this site are indicative and are not an offer.

A binding price exists only in a written quote issued by us for your specific property, and is subject to what we find once work begins — rotten decking and hidden damage are the usual reasons a scope changes. We will tell you before doing extra work.

We describe manufacturer products, ratings and warranties on this site, including Malarkey shingles and roofing accessories. Those figures come from the manufacturer and can change without notice, and vary by region and product line. Manufacturer warranties are granted by the manufacturer, not by us, and are subject to their terms, registration requirements and exclusions.

Our own workmanship warranty is separate, and its length depends on the package installed. The terms that apply to your roof are the ones written in your contract and warranty documents — not this website. Where the two differ, your paperwork governs.

Shingle colours shown on screen are reproductions and will not match the product exactly. Screens vary, and asphalt shingles vary between production runs. Always view a physical sample, and ideally several laid out on the roof, before choosing a colour.

Some imagery on this site is illustrative rather than a photograph of a specific Somerville Roofing job.

The referral program is described on our referral page and those terms apply. In short: the person referred must be a new customer, your name must be mentioned at their first enquiry, rewards are calculated on the final contract value before taxes, and they are paid once the referred job is complete and paid in full. We may change or end the program at any time; changes do not affect a referral already completed.

Quote requests and client logins are handled by Jobber under their own terms and privacy policy. Our service-area map uses map data from OpenStreetMap contributors. Reviews shown on this site come from our public Google Business Profile and are the words of the people who wrote them. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites we link to.

The design, text and photographs on this site belong to Somerville Roofing Inc. unless stated otherwise. Third-party trademarks — including Malarkey, NEX®, Secure Choice™, Vista®, Highlander®, Legacy®, Windsor®, EZ-Ridge®, Scotchgard™ and Columbia Skylights — remain the property of their respective owners and are used to identify the products we install.

The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information published here, as distinct from the obligations we take on in a signed contract for work on your property. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Our 24/7 emergency line is answered outside business hours, but response times depend on weather, safety and how many calls are active during a storm. If you have an active leak, take reasonable steps to protect your property while you wait. Do not go on the roof.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Disputes fall to the courts of British Columbia.
